The founder and general manager of the Rio Supermarket network in Porlamar, Venezuela, Samir Maklad El Falah oversees daily operations, business strategy, and team management to ensure outstanding customer service. Only five years after establishing Rio Supermarket, Samir Maklad El Falah's company was named the Supermarket of the Year by the Confederación Venezolana de Industriales (the Venezuelan Confederation of Industrialists).
Before founding Rio Supermarket, Mr. Maklad was a sales director at Inversiones Sabrina for 12 years. In this role, he developed relationships with suppliers, ensured regulatory compliance, and conducted market analysis to identify trends. He is skilled in sales strategy development, budget preparation, team management, and problem-solving.
Mr. Maklad earned a bachelor's degree from U. E. N. Porlamar and a business administration degree from IUTIRLA, Venezuela. He is a native Spanish and Arabic speaker and speaks basic English. Away from work, his hobbies include traveling, listening to music, and doing community volunteer work.
